First and...Amudhan,

Thanks for comments on the post. First and foremost all worthy investments that we make needs to be properly counseled. We are in an era of "Information"...
Let me go one by one on your questions,
1) Unicorn is simple , neat when compared to most other bikes in that 150cc range.. It doesn't have the jazzy looks check out the back lamps, the body , the whole design is simple, which to me is my USP.

2) It didn't have XCD in my mind , but i did have a test ride. XCD has a very light weight body and cant go at very high speed. But if you are looking out for mileage minded i think nothing can beat Splendor. Earlier i had a splendor and just loved the bike. And i already had in my mind to go for long rides and just for this the 125cc was never my cup of tea..

3) This was the toughest decision i had to make. But the test ride i gave on Unicorn was a dream run and just that it a "Honda" make i went on to finalize the deal.

The interesting and hidden facts that i learnt here was the number of constraints and questions that i had to answer while going through the entire process of getting a bike was mind blowing.. Investing always comes with some trade offs but you will have to decide which is lesser to affect you on a longer run..Sriharihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14993341107695126161noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4617778663066723014.post-65171191329420159952008-07-21T22:28:00.000+05:302008-07-21T22:28:00.000+05:30hi there,This post was a good one. Really made me ...hi there,
This post was a good one. Really made me think about my plans of buying a new bike. If you had not said anything about which bike you bought, it would be fine. But since, you had said you bought "Honda Unicorn", I demand some answers to these questions, which I am finding very difficult to solve.
1) In what way, Unicorn is better than CBZ Extreme?
2) Did you ever have XCD 125 in your mind? What made you reject it.
3) Why Pulzar failed your taste?

I am having, XCD (mileage minded), CBZ Extreme (Pickup and Style minded), Discover (loyalty to my first bike which is in my native and my favourite). I didn't think about Unicorn. If you could, just reply with your answers. Educate me!

Amateur biker,
AmudhanAmudhanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06517557838074500370noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4617778663066723014.post-32201473201012732472008-07-04T18:04:00.000+05:302008-07-04T18:04:00.000+05:30The whole point on going thro the process was gett...The whole point on going thro the process was getting educated...

Here the catch is "The Skin speaks more than the inner soul"...The same applies here...
